Welcome!
Srishti Goswami
PhD Student
I am a PhD student in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology and a member of the Jan Lab, where I am interested in studying the molecular mechanisms of inner ear regeneration and identifying pathways with translational potential for therapeutic development. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Biotechnology from Michigan State Univeristy. In the lab of Dr. Amy Ralston, I studied stem cell biology and transcriptional regulation during early embryonic development. After graduation, I worked as a research assistant at Harvard Medical School in the lab of Dr. Norbert Perrimon, where I contributed to developing a novel CRISPR-Cas9 screening platform for tick cells. Outside of the lab, I am a dancer and enjoy doing arts and crafts and watching movies.
